Q: Are the bowls food-safe?
A:Yes, all bowls are finished with a coating of mineral oil and yellow beeswax.
Q: How do I make a purchase?
A: Simply
click on the picture of the piece that you like, view the details and click the "Add to Cart" button,
then click on view shopping cart. Review the details and click on "Checkout".
Confirm your purchase and click the Paypal button. You will be directed to Paypal's secure site, where you
can choose to pay with a credit card, or use your Paypal account.
Paypal keeps all of your information secure--in fact, it is one of
the safest ways to purchase anything on the internet. I never
see your private financial information at all. Paypal
processes the payment, and I process the order.
Q: What is spalted wood?
A: Spalting
is a form of wood coloration caused by fungi during the natural decay process. Although primarily found in dead trees,
it can also occur under stressed tree conditions or even in living trees.
Where
colonies of fungus meet, fine black lines - often considered a desirable feature,
can be seen.
Q: What if the woodwork piece I receive is
either not what I expected, or not what I ordered? What is
your return policy?

purchase (not including shipping)
Contact me if you plan to return an item, so I will know it's
on its way.
Package the work securely, preferably in the same packaging it arrived in, and insure it for the full retail price of the art (this is for your own protection, for you assume the risk of loss from damage during shipping if you do not obtain the insurance). Once I receive the work, your purchase price (not including shipping) will be refunded. (If you received the wrong piece by mistake, please contact me.)
NOTE: While you do not need to provide an explanation for the return, if there is a problem with the quality of your purchase, I would like to know about it.
